the alum plate is just to make sure it is gonna work -->.. getting a steel plate cut at my bud fab shop.. just wanted to do some mocking up as you notice the sharpy marker ;D  thanks though i am glad that the other side you just drill about 1/8 inch over and your good ;D i will have pix when the steel plate gets done .. i am still a long way from running this thing

That don't look to safe LOL, make sure you mount them REAL good  (Steel plates not aluminum) , Guy I know Blew a "left nut" when his foot peg broke off..

so the raptor 700 nerf bars bit pretty well... I will need a 1 inch plate to to bolt it up nicely and the left side just need to drilled about about 1/8 inch to bolt up

How's the kick starter arc?

 Does it clear the nerfs?

ya if i gind the nub's off my current pegs it fits right over it looks bad a (pg) (pg)  cant wait for it to be all on will post pix of what i had to grind off to fit so everyone can have a beast like heal guard pro nerf bars

scored a sweet set of nerf bars for a 700 raptor for 20$ gonna fab them up for the LT250

getting money on the 25th for the quad excited just grabbed some cases for 58.00 both left and right with barrings in them then only 275$ more in parts and i should be on track

I would watch for bad crank bearing inserts in used cases. Just something to watch for.

Depending on the damage, you may be able to get your broken case half welded up for cheaper than the price of a replacement case half.
a peace behind the swing arm hole **** and it put a hole into the inside of the case also pretty much F'ed it bad like a 2 inch peace is snaped and a finger size hole into the inside of the case so i found a few for 100$ or so .. not too bad should need about 350 to fishes the project up

well me and the wifey just sat down and decided i should just rebuild and get new cases and rebuild the bottom end barrings when i am at it =) so i am getting a bonus check on the 25 so let get parts a shipping

well crap new today .. when i was taking the bottom end out to paint and my milk crate broke and the motor fell and broke the right case ... selling it for 300$ obo

it about 7 months in the making now almost done home stretch cant wait to ride this summer about 150$$ more and i will be on my way i am just waiting for a swingarm weld brakes and the hard to find swingarm bolt

it had a light trail port "confirmed by my old mx mech" so i am guessing it was jeted for that it ran ok befor i took it apart.. just making sure the reeds wont affect it much

Did you change anything else (port, pipe, carb..) If not then your jetting should be close if not the same as before the rebuild.

just got my reeds and gasket kit =) soon the motor will be alive =)... will i need to rejet for reeds?

decided to paint my clutch side cover black along with the engien black polished flywheel side cover and head ... it looks nuts i will do a mock up within a few day got some reeds "bosyon" for 20$ brand new in the box with headgasket kit only need a swing arm bolt =(

got the plastics all done arms are sanded getting paint done this week should be looking good and frame together with the week

frame is done love the blue a arms are sanded and ready for paint "black" sending out the swing arm next week for welding. head gasket and reeds in the mail for the motor so with in a week or two should be running .. will get some pix up soon

When i got mine i had to replace every bearing in the frame and wheels, They were all shot!

it had many many flaws lol **** swing arm bad front end barring bad oil seals needed rings ... i will post more pic tomrro should be running within the month

bought this project for 250$ i cleaned the plastic and polished the side covers and got the frame primed today
