So just lower ride height and less suspension travel and bottoming out are the only things ill need to worry about? No added wear on ball joints spindles or tie rods? Also how important is frame gusseting? My frame doesn't have any bends or cracks present and is currently stripped I plan on primarily drag racing with it and some trail riding but no **** mx'ing or jumping or anything like that.

I run works steeler resivor shocks on my zilla & they are for a banshee!! You shouldnt have a problem!! Be sure to cycle the suspension to check for the frame bottoming out & If they are shorter than stock it will set the front or your quad lower than stock!!

What will running a shorter than stock front shock and spring do to my 500? I only weigh 155-160lbs so weight support isn't a real issue for me and there's some used Ohlins 13.5" front shocks on eBay from a blaster.
