not a hint of oil in the coolant. but the bolt that holds the pump in that has rubber washer around it looks a bit chewed up and tatty . will investigate further.Every time i take things apart i learn a little more!!

If its weeping oil it just might be the oil seal on the pump shaft.
Is that what you meant El Diablo?

If the water pump weep hole is weeping oil, check the coolant to verify if there is oil mixed in with it. More likely, you need to replace the case seals.

its weeping oil ??

if its not threaded, its called a wheap hole. I spelled wrong. if it leaks you need a new water pump seal, about $30
