Have you measured the clearance between piston and cylinder bore?

Sounds like someone dumped a few mexican jumping beans in your clutch cover.
Really though, elaborate on the clicking noise, when does it happen, how fast of a click, running or not running...????

Hey just wondering does all lt250r's have a clicking sound in the motor? I have a 88 and the motor makes this sound and i cant figure it out i thought the lower rod bearing was making this noise so i bought a different bottom end and put my cylinder on this bottom end and i still has the same motor noise and cant figure it out every thing is sealed up good cause i did a leak down test on it. the guy i bought it from said the head had been milled so could that be the problem because i wouldnt think it is the rod cause both motors made the same sound. Just wondering if there is anything else that could be making this sound. PLEASE HELP!!
