Would a 500 swing arm fit on a 250 frame
Yes, but it's 1 or 2 inches shorter than the 250 swinger, so it would only be useful for flattrack/ ice, and still might be too short.
-
I have no idea

Hey guys I have another question the reason I think I need a new swing arm is because where it bolts thru the motor one side of the round part where the bolt slides thru is broken would I be able to weld that back together and get some use out of it? I can post a pic if it'll help your response

K thanks everyone

91-92 frame is also different where the upper shock mounts and where the lower linkage mounts to the frame.
just look for a 87-90 swingarm. theres plenty out there. could even use a 85-86 swingar but there prone to cracking around the bearing carrier.
-
Yes shock is different also... different rezzie line/mounting... and lower fork mounts on shock rather than eyelets....
-
So is the shock different also?
-
91-92 has the linkage under the swingarm.
-
Don,t think the 91-92 use the link.Shock goes from the swinger to the frame with no dog bone or pivot.
-
Ok is it possible to use the 91-92 what would you need the linkage off it too?
-
Yes
-
So 87-90 will work
-
91-92 use a different swinger on the 250's they are no link.

My 87 needs a new swing arm are there any differences between the 87 - 92?
