Ok diablo would you want the gripper material where the blue is or where the yellow is or both? Both would cost more than one or the other mind you.

If you can do gripper material for both colors, that would be great. Just PM me a price & i'll let you know before I pull the trigger. I may want some custom embroidery on the back as well (El Diablo & a flaming skull with crossed fire axes)

Yes fabric glued to the foam and stapled like your oem cover was attached. Provides best alignment of pattern and also insures the cover doesn't move or tear easily.

Buckeye--What do you mean by permanently attached--does that mean glued to the foam and stapled around the bottom of the pan or something different?

All gripper in black if possible I might find a patch and have it stitched on near the back of the seat

Ok quadman I understand what you mean with tapering the blue to line up with the tank cover plastic and if you want the cover permanently attached to your seat I would need the entire seat if you just want a removable cover ill just need the thickness of your foam compared to stock seat foam however doing it like this wont fit as snugly I will warn you.

Man I think I like that  pattern you you just posted is what Im looking for. with some changes of course. :)

Keep Checkers Just as they are. same shape same angles.

Keep the blue down the center, but at the top by the tank, flare the blue out a little so that when you are looking at it from the side it has a more continuous flow of blue from the tank shroud to the seat.--not sure how to explain it.

Replace the yellow sides in your picture with black gripper---and replace the back yellow in your picture with black gripper as well.  I really like the look of the band around the back---so yes, I am ditching my idea of having the checkers wrap around as I first stated.

Since this is for a thicker/taller desert foam, I could send you the foam to pattern it---or I could send the seat base and foam. Either way.

I may want " Zilla" or something cool embroidered on the back.  Get back to me with cost with and without embroidery.-----someone is going to have to teach me how you did that link.

Buckeye, I really like the bottom rendition of the two examples you gave. I like it as is, just with gripper material.

Oh and obviously the seats shape in that picture aren't the same as a Zilla seat just so I can get a good understanding of what you're after pattern wise to give you a price.

Quadman something more like the bottom one pictured here only would you want the checker to wrap up and around and connect? And where it's yellow you would want black and where it's blue you would want blue the black would be gripped material?

Buckeye--I would if I had a clue how to do it. You can see it though---go to the gallery and scroll down a little to the "most viewed(list all)" section.   Click on "list all" to expand to view all the pictures.  Half way down on the left  dated november 14 is Zilla4lifes quad.  I too want gripper sides.

Is this along the lines of what you're looking for quadman?

I would be down for one like this with the checkers. But I also want gripper material on the sides.

Buckeye--That is close to what I am looking for.  I want black sides too.
Member Zilla4life has a a picture of his quad on this site. I tried to attach it but it wont atach my jpeg file.  I want a pattern like zilla4lifes quad but with the blue and black reversed.  His quad was featured a month ago (it has chains on the back tire--nice looking quad).

The vendor he got the seat  from had it made by cascade innovations but they dont do that pattern anymore and for any checkers their pricing is now a joke.  Ill bet they would now want over 300 to do mitch's checkard seat.

Let me know a price.  As for the V3 reeds.  Another member is coming in town on the 22nd for the reeds, the intake, and my headlight assembly.  If it falls through for some reason I will let you know.

Quadman what colors are you wanting and I'm assuming you want all weather vinyle for fabric. And I can have it made without your seat or if you want it permenitely attached I would need your seat but could have it back to you within a week or two. As far as cost is concerned ill have to talk to my dad for an exact amount but it won't be anywhere near $300 I can promise you that. Also if you still have that v3 cage and reeds we could probably work out a trade of some sort if you're willing.

I am looking for one now.  I have the taller desert foam so I have very little choices...and I want a band of checkers across the back.  Cascade said they could do checkers front to back but not side to side and the lost me when they said it would be over 300 dollars.    Atv seat covers ( the company) cant answer their pone to save their life.  How can a business stay in business if a potential customer leaver over 10 messages over the span of 2 months and they don't answer the phone or call back.---oh Im ranting now..sorry.

To answer your question..I would be interested in a reasonably priced custom cover.  --Im not saying it has to be cheap..just reasonable.

Price will depend on what is requested to be done. Also doesn't have to be just Quadracer seats.

I would think if the price was right there would be plenty of demand , just my 2 cents though.

Just testing the water seeing what the demand would be for custom seat covers. Highest quality with as much detail as you can imagine. Just trying to see how much interest is out there for something like this.
