Got the new gasket on, no leaks at idle or when i rev it up. Soo thats good news, so far i havent been able to ride it to see if it'll leak with a load on so wish me luck!!!

Put it in right this time, also use a thin layer of Permatex semi-rigid Ultra Grey and Ultra grey only on both sides. Im talking thin layer, keep the jackets clean. If you don't have Ultra grey you should. It is the only RTV/silicone product to use on these bike's.

I bought some similar stuff, I'm just waiting on the new gasket.
-
Have you tried gasgacinch?
-
i hope you get it back together on time, but remember if the motor is surging when your riding you probably blew the gasket again. Also if your over flow tank is overflowing on your boots while you ride, gasket is blown. Go kick that 4 stroke's ass but don't miss a gear or he is gone, lol
good luck
Thanks man! hahaha I should have the new gasket by tues! so I should have no problem :)

you should just send the head to Carl/ Iceracer or whoever on here to get oringed, you will curse that head gasket for ever. They added a stud for a reason, plus those cometic head gaskets are not cheap
I plan on having this done after the riding season but I really need to get this thing sealed up correctly before this weekend! lol I'm headed out to Glamis and dont want to be stuck on the 450 when I race a Renegade 1000

No leakage but try to use cosmetic gaskets, they are the best I was told

Stock or coolhead?
I'm pretty sure it's just a stock head, unless there's a cool head that looks similar to the stock.

Well I did something really stupid!!! I put my head gasket on backwards :( small holes went on the intake side. But my question is would this make the head leak out of the studs without the motor even running? (cause it is)? or is it leaking out of the studs because my washers are bad? any help would be great guys! cant believe I put it on backwards!
