Robb's case savers do an excellent job!
They self-destruct, protecting the bosses on the case.
Most case savers are so overbuilt that when a chain goes, the case saver is so solid that it takes the bosses with it.
The case saver itself is fine, probably no more than a few scratches, but it's not much of a case saver at that point if it tears the bosses out of the case.
With Robb's carbon fiber version, it may be worthless after you throw a chain, but it does what its name implies...it SAVES the case.

no doubt SBLT500 makes the best case saver for the LT's
if you looking for a bit more protection get the one that has the hole for the shifter shaft.
but look through them in the store he makes a few different styles, and he needs to know what size front sprocket you will be using
for a better fit
