i already have a set of yfz pegs im hoping to mount.
but yes i would love some input.ive been on this lt for so long and since ive rode other bikes and my logic is telling me that the bike is not worth trying to set up the suspension, but in the back of my head im hoping for someone to prove me wrong cause i love this bike. those videos defiantly helped,i cant see myself riding my bike any harder than he was, those jumps are about as big as i will ever go.

Rob (racerx) would be a good guy to chime in he does mx with a 250 and has a nice set up!

I don't recall if he has a build thread anywhere, he is motoman811 here I believe, and racerx over at 2strokecentral. The main downfall to the LT in mx is really the durability of the frame. Constant cracking, peg mounts bending and breaking, and the lower rails are thin. Chances are, even if the frame is gusseted correctly, you'll be looking for a new frame in 3-4 seasons if you Weinen style it.

does he have a build thread?? im interested to see how his bike is set up.
mainly the rear,if its stock shock and stock length

seeing as how ive owned the same lt since i was 13,i am now 24......ive never seen his videos!!!!

The Burgard long travel setup works pretty well with Floats. If you can get them to send you your parts that is. Heres a vid of a member here that runs his 91 with MRH prepped 265.

so ive never met anyone with suspension on a lt250,let alone ride one with long travel.im debating on throwing money into my old bike.im just curious if its like hanging a new chandelier in a haunted house.compared to the trx250r's i already dont like the way the lt's sit so high.
so what im getting at is if i invest in say a burgard kit for the front will it jump as nice as say a newer 450?
