not sure of the weight. 125lbs maybe. crate would be roughly 2'x2'x2'. I can drop it off at common carrier , ups, fedex. first $450 takes it
-
Where abouts do u work in ny? I'd be interested in picking it all up if you're close enough. Pm me a price & a way to contact u.
-
can you give me a weight of the two motors together? and box size
-
I am looking to sell the whole thing off as a package. I will crate everything up. Buyer arranges shipping. That way you know your not over paying on the shipping prices. Just bought a new pipe so I have to let these parts go. I am located in massachusetts but work in upstate NY during the week so if this helps you out on getting it.

I am selling a parts motor I have laying around. The motor was from when I bought my first 500 2 years ago. The motor ran when I bought the bike (owner fired it up and I ran it down the steet though the gears). I took it home and pulled it out to do a rebuild. I then found a better motor and onto the shelf this one went. The good: its an 87 big reed motor, it ran, only on first overbore, piston looks good. I pulled the stator cover off at one time and felt the crank and did not feel any play.
The bad: one of the headstuds is missing (they had a bolt in its place) the rear of the case where the swingarm pivot goes thru is ****( I will weld it up before sale), I have scavenged some parts off of it(nut that holds clutch basket to crank, powervalve linkage, a few misc bolts)
I believe that the upgraded headstuds would fix the current missing one
I will also throw in a basket case bottom end I have laying around. I will post pics of it. Not sure whats there and whats not.
