« on: March 31, 2013, 09:45:14 pm »
Lookiing for some ideas for my air intake on the Hybrid. I just picked up an AEM 21-2059BF dry filter and outerwear. Looking for some ideas on running this new setup. Just looking for pics or ideas.

don't know what size your filter is, but i made these up awhile back to use a trx250r filter.  kinda tight in there and hard to fit a larger filter.  87-92 frame, probably work on the 85-86's too.

Yeah one of these days I'll need me one of them set ups for my Hybrid. I plan on just running a filter with a nice mount like this one you made up. That looks like a pretty good way to do it.

That looks nice shawn, this filters huge, 5 1/2'' at the base 5 1/4 at the top and 9'' tall with a 4'' intake. It's the same one brett, dale, larry, kennerz and a lot of others are running on there duners. I like your bracket just not sure if it will fit this huge filter.

yea thats too big, it will clamp on, but hit the shock and fender.

not much room in there for a large filter.  maybe straight of the carb wth a straight intake.  i made this useing a stock intake and carb figuring it was easier for this to work, use what is stock on the 500,  and not have to get a straight on billet intake.

i can still make them, don't have any right now.  think it is a 2-4 adapter, but i include that with the bracket, had to shorten it and cut it at an angle.  all you'll have to do is bolt in and go, try and make it easy for you.
