Why would u want to stick a boat anchor zilla axle on a250? Just use some tusk racing wide hubs switch to a common 4x110 pattern and be a happy camper

If its the width you are after.
I have a extra 500 axle, it's wider then the 250, and was just curious if it would work
I ride my Zilla everywhere and I don't mind it through the tight trails, I can keep up with guys on the dirt bikes and get it pretty much anywhere they can
Try to follow a dirt bike down here, its not going to happen. Most places we ride have what they call a single track, dirt bikes only. You can get a quad through it, but you running through briar bushes climbing over trees, or trying to make a trail to get around the sh!t that is in front of you. Or you just stop and unstrap the chain saw. lol. Most times when i take the 2 stroke someone has a saw.
lol...i forgot who said it but 91-92 frame is the simplest to do...just need a 500 intake boot and done...and adjusting the carb isn't to bad...Carl....lol
my build:
500 motor held in with the hybrid mounts by sblt250...
notch for plug, kicker, exhaust
move over chain roller
space rear sprocket
i dont run airbox....waste of space...just made a bracket and run 250r k&n
the bottom motor mount i notched in and re-inforced
ltr 450 rear hubs....gets you 4..110...and wider...
i'm sure i forgot a couple things in there
+1 +2 a-arms...with shock adjustment for those special days...lol
+2 swinger...more than you ever need for 165lb rider
olin front shocks...pep rear...all with rezzies
and i have my weight around 330 dry
and i'll never run a 500 frame again
but when i had the 500 motor in the 400ex frame....i miss that....a lot...was set all MX

I don't ride we're John does but I third this on the trails I usually ride on. There's dirt bike only stuff you can always get around or you can try it and fight with your bike to get through all the crap.
Looks great snikle! You have a sparky on the silencer? Also what rear tires are those cause you ride Silver Lake right? Would you recomend them or try something a little different for the wet sand?
That is the sparky most QR's run at SL. I think Fast freddy is running 9 paddle haulers, 8's work good on a slow hybrid like mine :/ or a zilla...
that's a old pic of his bike, he has a Q pipe on it.. with sparky
tires are haulers
yeah its older pic.....cant find the new ones....wtf
but yes 8 blade haulers...is all i ever use....the 9 blades are long gone
they are almost the perfect dune tire at SL...the wet sand is mostly by the beach...unless it rains...need to know your setup to better help with tires
i think that my sparky is 2 3/4...

...i have a one of a kind AAEN first edition silencer
BadMoon has the first ever AAEN...hehe
Cool deal I think Im gonna get a new set try em out. Everyone seems to run the same fronts what are they called?
BadMoon has the first ever AAEN...hehe

Thank you Fred, I love my slow hybrid
I think the front tire are sand sharks?
Really anything that is smooth with a rig
Mine are gbc shark fin....lol ...knew it had shark something
Just think light and flotation
