I work in the automotive repair industry and what gets me is, you can but 4 struts..loaded for a car and spend $500-600 for 4 ! I can't see how Elka,Works, etc.. charge $1500 for a set of 3 loaded shocks..

Wiseco is another that blows me away... $125-150 for a single piston!  where you can order a set of 8 pistons,rings etc. for $400 for a small block chevy motor and they will throw in a free gasket set.

They see this as a Hobby opportunity to gouge you!
