• I am ditching my airbox and want to run the Uni 8" long pod filter part UP-8400ST.   I called Outerwear and they say they only stock one for the 6" but not the 8".    They say if one has not been made before they can custom make what I want for a small (10.00) custom fee.   
  
  They didnt have any record of ever making the pre-filter for this filter.  I found that odd as I thought that this was the filter all you buys who ditched the airbox are running.
  
  1)  If you have no airbox what filter are ;you running.
  2)  To get the outerwear pre filter for the 8" Uni---do I have to custom order it, or has anyone done that already and reselling them

• go on outerwears website, they have a search where you can put the filter size in.  this one should fit, but you might want to measure the filter yourself.  5 1/2 X8 was on unis website for filter size. 
  
  i came up with this, but might be tight on the filter.  just put in a larger size, they have larger covers.  so i'd give them the measurements of the filter and they can get you a cover.

• no problem.  i didn't even know they had that search on there site.  needed a cover for the filters i used on the lt airboxes and couldn't find one.  this would have helped.

• Sublunacy--Thanks for the offer.  I appreciate that.  I went a different route a 9" AGM dry filter and they offer a pre filter for it, so I am set.  But thanks again for the offer.
