Anyone know if any of the Rekluse clutches will retro-fit to our Zukes? I see they have them for the RMZ250's but no clue if the clutches are even remotely close to ours,,,, I figure the clutch cover itself will probably be the biggest limiting factor
I'm going to go out on a limb and say no since our clutches are wet clutches unlike the RMZ-250. I would imagine if they were interchangeable it would be on their website or they would make one specifically for our bikes and other two strokes.
I didnt know they made them for a two stroke. Good to learn new things cause I am about to put one on my Z400 for my wife; she doesnt like the clutch.
almost all 2 stroke clutches are wet clutches,,, even the z400 is a wet clutch.....
But would it fit, Dez? I know they have a replacement outer clutch cover because the rekluse clutches are wider than the stock clutches so im thinking not unless someone were to make a 2-piece cover for the LT?
Good question chuckie...
DW that's not a cheap mod but no stalling would be sweet those learning
If the rm uses the same clutch basket then it can be made to work. I just bought a crf450r z-start pro and had to get a different spacer that goes above the clutch lifter and a different gasket for my clutch cover because the rekluse sticks out slightly more then stock. This was a great upgrade for me in the slow single track I ride.
I am sure rekluse doesnt make parts for the lt but if you could figure out the size of the spacer I am sure they would have them it is basically just a different sized washer. Also if space was a issue you could make your own thicker clutch cover gasket.
