WRONG!
I get the
**** one out of the LT and go to remove the two axle nuts cause the rotor on my new one is all bent.
First nut comes off super easy. Second one is a
****; two monkey wrenches, a hernia and a 6 foot pipe later I get it loose and remove the rotor.
So I go to remove to rotor on the new swing arm and the axle nuts come off easy.
Until I try to remove the hub. I removed the nut and hit it with a hammer for a bit and nothing. Tried a puller and just bent the
**** out of it! Tried heat, no help!
This is why we love old machines eh
Hit it with pb blaster/kroil/acetone& atf and let it sit for a couple days
Brake fluid works to loosen stuck things
that pb blaster is some crzy
**** when you leave it sit on something for a few days
Try Bolt-Off from Nutek, puts PB Blaster to shame!
Naval jelly works good for rust. It is like coca cola from hell. Wear gloves and neutralize the phosphoric acid with baking soda when you are wanting to touch the part. It works great for old gas tanks, stuck calipers, pins, stuck pistons in cylinders. Good stuff. You need it. And if you leave a pan around big azz spiders get in it:)
brake hub does not come off easy, it is pressed on, rotor side comes off easy for axle bearing removal.
Try aro-kroil. In 20 years of atvs and 13 years of HVAC work, i have never come across something that stuff wont loosen.

Not trying to remove break hub, just trying to get the wheel hub off so I Can get the rotor out. I've unbolted the rotor from the brake hub.
Man I must've gotten lucky my rear end just basically fell apart in comparison to the troubles you're having. Good luck man hope you get it all apart and back together. Everything I had trouble with an overnight soak in pb blaster took care of.
Same with the 87 I just went through. I think it really depends on how much water and mositure the quad is subjected too.
On my other 87, I had to beat the hub off the axle and ended up ruining the hub. The other hub came right off.
Dropped the whole shebang at the shop this morning. Hoping they have better luck than I
oh the rear wheel hub, damm heat should have got it off, use more heat. lol
When you said you heated it are you talking oxy/acet???Some people try using a propane torch which is useless.
