SBLT500R also made one SWEET aluminum air box for my 85' 250R!!  He also makes air boxes for the later years I believe.  With or without a lid, & mine had really clean welds + it bolted up perfectly!!  And for a dang good price.  He's worth the wait and the price he asks for.  He's very good at what he does.  Thanks for your time spent making us SWEET parts!
