Is there any real point to keeping my front brake rotor guards when i put everything back together?
What is the factory purpose..do you guys keep them on or chuck them?
They get bent up to easily.... I dumped them
Only reason to keep them is if you have some sort of mint, unmolested quad with all original components.
Otherwise, they work well as frisbees.
I'm planning on dumping mine they look like crap and they're so flimsy if I hit something stiff enough to jack my brakes up those things aren't gonna do anything but make it harder to free the bind up.
There not going back on my zilla.
more weight to help you keep the front end down
I herd from a Nasa designer that they create a high speed air vortex around the wheels resulting in a low pressure that reduces all drag and equates to a 55hp gain--or was it something that too many beers might have told me? HUm
If you like the sound of gravel squealing on your rotor, keep em. That's real world tested.
My rotor guards make more power on the dyno than yours do in the real world!
My rotor guards are vomiting blood.
I don't know what to do.
