Podwer Coating Hot Parts--Brakes--Heads-silencers
« on: January 28, 2013, 06:34:37 pm »
What hot parts get too hot for powder coating?  I heard if the part gets too  hot that  the coating will melt again.

I assume a pipe gets to hot --what about the silencer...the brake calipers..the head  ?

typical curing temp for PC is 400 degrees. My estimate is that at over 500 degrees you will have major issues however. Im not sure about the high temp PC. Check reviews before you waste any time or labour on high temp paint.
