we got ours on ebay, it was pretty good deal.
we will see how long it will last tho, we have not had good luck with batts in our king quad.

I had a big list of lipo batteries on the other site, did tons of research.
Wish I could remember it all.
I'll see if I can pull up anything new...

west king: i remember reading your big post, very informative. from what i found, all of the major brand LiFePo batteries put out more juice than the stock battery so im covered there, now im just looking for a low price.

grkguy: other people that i have talked to said they get good life out of them so hopefully they last on your king

Yeah, I just can't for the life of me remember which one was the best deal.
Google wiped out the entire archive for the quadracerhq domain, so I can't bring the cache of that post up.
I'll keep doing some research about it, I'm actually in the market for one too so I'll let you know what I find.

the alien in motion battery i believe is a ballistic battery under a different name at a slightly lower price but both come with warranty. the shorai seems like a good choice as well but im just not a fan of Chinese quality control, hit or miss IMO. i did read that they were going to make them in japan but i could not confirm that from their website.

My experience is that Chinese manufacturers have lipo batteries down pretty well.
I can't say that all batteries are high quality (some are practically given away as factory rejects, then another company sells them without labeling as such) but for the most part if it's not priced ridiculously low it'll be fine.
The best lipos I've bought so far have been Chinese if that tells you anything.

I just replaced the yuasa battery in my lt450r, with the same thing. How much weight could I have saved running one of these new tech batteries?
