Ive had my 500 & 250 quadracers since the end of July. What parts do you take just in case of problems while your on a trip?
I figure a stator, woodruff key, flywheel, Tire seal n air, extra master link & spare links of chain, air filter, nuts/bolts, antifreeze, .......
What else or do you rely on your compadres spares/pit box?
In the 'Pit Box" ...
Throttle and clutch cables, oil, cheapo handlebars, bolt kit from RMATV.
In a Backpack.. Tire plugs,co2 inflator, tow strap, safety wire and pliers ( this stuff is a lifesaver)
10 -17 mm wrenches or sockets.
Same what he said plus lots of cold beer.
Remember the flywheel tool. Also a cheap 19volt impact is nice to remove that sucker quickly. What you bring is also dependent on your riding area. Hard terrain, mud, sand, they all would have a tendency to loose/break different parts.
I ride 100% sand, so extra bars are not required (soft rollovers typically). I always have different main jets, second sprocket, second chain, extra clutch, brake, and shift levers. Extra clutch and throttle cables could be useful. I have a full set of spare electronics too.
i've lost my kicker on 2 separate occasions but i don't feel like thats normal. however some blue loctite could be a lifesaver in several situations. also a huge fan of cold steel or another similar product, that stuff has saved me in lots of situations.
How about that C-clip on the needle. I seem to hand out a few to people that do adjustments, go to push the clip on and away it goes.. never to be found.
Yeah in our pit boxes when we raced were stocked with the easily damaged items set up ready to bolt on. Extra bike if we could.

I was thinking Zilla specific parts that can fail when your out away from the garage. I try to be self sufficient .....
I bring two bikes now im sick of being on the sidelines.lol
