suzuki wants 369 bucks for all but the main crank bearings,i didnt factor in that bearings were gonna be THAT pricey.
can anyone help me with a link or know a place that i can get quality jap bearings cheaper???
this is gonna push my rebuild completion date back at least 2 more weeks!!!
Contact Yuzuha on here. Best prices around.
I think he is rebuilding a 250.
Press all the bearings out and take to nearest bearing supply house(DXP around here) Seals too. Did a few 250's and a 500. Find your cheapest online oem and make a list, take into supply house and compare. Theres a few that have to come from suzuki.
Thanks for the help, this full rebuild is getting a lil deeper in the pocketbook than expected. Ima contact. Yasuma and try a local bearing supply. And yes its a lt250 rebuild.
hey deebo i tried to search for Yuzuha but i cant find anything
If you have the bearing numbers you can go to a local bearing house and they can match them.
Or use Mitche's bearing cross reference sheet to find the Koyo's you need.
i ended up getting impatient and bought everything from 2wheelpros for 200buxx,it was almost a hundred cheaper than dealer price....
i've found that the local dealers will work with you.
I bought a carb slide and the dealer wanted 90 bucks! online they were like 60 or 70 so i took that to them and we settled for 5 bucks more than the online price. I was fine with that. No shipping and throw a little extra at the local economy.
my local suzuki dealer is like 45min. one way drive,by the time i factor in gas its damn near 35 bucks each trip,so ill be 70 dollars in the whole to order it and go pick it up......the dealers suck
