500 number plate hood

Anyone see a number plate hood like this on a zilla?



I actually think it looks pretty freakin good on a 500. Don't like it on a 250 but on a 500, it's a yes from me.

Looks like the Maier 250 hood modified and mounted on the stock Zilla hood.

They made them sprecifically for the 500's back in the day.  There was actually a NOS one on eBay a little while back.  I almost bought it, but couldn't decide if I'd like it or not.  Looks pretty good in that pic though.

Absolutely. Brand new one for the 250 is $75 so why not! Now I just have to bite the bullet and trim the dumbo ears off

Here you go. Not sure about it. Didn't look great up close. Might replace the black plastic mesh with perforated aluminum.
