4th of July.
« on: July 08, 2018, 04:57:54 pm »
I got the 250 back together to ride on the 4th. Nice.
Slingin mud.
The trails are at a friend's camp. I stuck to some tight trails parallel to the road for the first gallon of so. If something went wrong I'd have an easy out.
After that I started riding a loop that took me through the longer trails a out to the road at the end of the property and a road ride back to the beginning.
Everything held together. New water pump worked well and nothing came loose. (I once had a fire role down a West Virginia mountain side).

I'd like to thank my brother-in-law for lending me space and tools to assemble the old 250.
He also helped with the water pump.
I owe him one.

Next is the 500. I'm not sure how much it will take to get it running but I want to have it done by mid August. I can dream

Good to hear you're back out there smoking in the woods. You need to drag Todd out there sometime and get him hooked again.

Todds youngest son is more likely to join the club.
He just graduated, works, loves speed, and loves QuadRacers.
Good kid.
