I got the 250 back together to ride on the 4th. Nice.
Slingin mud.
The trails are at a friend's camp. I stuck to some tight trails parallel to the road for the first gallon of so. If something went wrong I'd have an easy out.
After that I started riding a loop that took me through the longer trails a out to the road at the end of the property and a road ride back to the beginning.
Everything held together. New water pump worked well and nothing came loose. (I once had a fire role down a West Virginia mountain side).
I'd like to thank my brother-in-law for lending me space and tools to assemble the old 250.
He also helped with the water pump.
I owe him one.
Next is the 500. I'm not sure how much it will take to get it running but I want to have it done by mid August. I can dream
