Ok so what happened

 Not really a crash, more like a very hard landing. I went over a 12' drop off &  pancaked in. Somehow my knee put a mild dent in the pipe (1.5" high x 2" wide x 1/8" deep). The gastank didn't like the hard landing so it **** all along the back side.
The bike still rides straight as an arrow & nothing structural got tweeked so i'm really happy that my revised new front suspension is able to hold up to the equivilant of being dropped off the roof of a house with a 180 lb rider. I think it's time to tear it apart now for the cosmetic overhaul (new powder coat & chrome). The other parts were already plumb wore out.
