For the past  13 years or so I have been running a CT package. Mild port, CT pipe ( not the pipe that exits by your feet) a modified keihen PJ carb, and modified head, with pyramid reeds.  So much better than stock and bulletproof.  Its power is more MX like. Broad snappy torque power.  For the dunes I would like higher revs.  Pipe is strong bottom to mid but not a screamer. Had CT rebuild lower end with new seals bearings and some new gears last year but I have not had it back in bike since then.   Solid build but not a high HP set up either.

I am in the process now or restoring the entire quad and will be going with different set up . Have Q 2.0 pipe and will be going with modified mikuni, vforce reeds, and modified cool head. I may or may not change the porting.

Twin turbos, nitro methane, and a 1.21 gigawatt flux capacitor for hyper-drive.
(shameless plug--I will probably be selling the Pipe, reeds,Carb, and head en the near future)

Nice! I'm running a CT built motor as well! my porting is mixed between CT's and Trinity's stage IV, bored to a 540, 39mmPWK, V-force 3 reeds, fuel customs intake, and the CT outlaw pipe(exits by the foot).

I got a used '87 w/ a poor fitting air filter. The motor was tired and hammering on it the first time I had it out at glamis, it dropped a piston skirt.  (pg)

Not wanting to relive that I had the engine gone thru. Fresh crank/brgs/seals/oem rod kit w/ welded pin, 87mm Wiseco piston windowed, powerhead w/ squish modified, ported cyl, 41pwk & stock reeds for now. Been babying it until today. Neighbors were cool no  C:-) thank you

Cases are machined for steel bearing inserts; transmission gears back cut, cryo treated & micropolished; Barnett 9 disk clutch; RM-250 wrist pin bearing; billet piston thrust washers; dune ported & reinforced cylinder; O-ringed Cool Head; V Force 3 reeds; and a VM44 carb.

It keeps me happy....

.... Untill next season.... ;)
