Throttle cable to short
« on: July 22, 2013, 07:49:45 pm »
Anybody know what throttle cable to use with the new style Sudco TM38? The stock cable is to short because the new carb has a screw adjuster on the top cover and on the old carb the cable goes down inside the top cover. If I remove the adjuster screw there is no shoulder to stop the cable.

Are you talking about a TMX38 (or similar)?
Get rid of it and switch back to the stock carb, or any other carb for that matter.
Those things are downright junk and can actually be dangerous to ride.
