Go back and read quadster twisted my words a little. I rung my nuts out and some stud came through and messed some stuff up!!!!

O-ringing a nut? It was a joke!
It is not a joke, it is a good idea to seal the studs or nuts with o-rings.
O-rings around the head studs are OEM on some of the jet ski engines.
The stud placement has to be part of the original design because there has to be space to machine the appropriate groove around the stud.
I'm not discounting the benefits of it, it was intended to be a humorous connection between copper head gaskets and copper washers.
It's not very funny if I have to explain it though.

Yes these are o-ringed studs.
Why are you putting sealer on the o-rings? If everything is done correctly you should not put any sealer on ANY o-ring.
I am not. It was on there before. I am going to give it a shot without the sealer.
Edit: It was a pain to clean up!!
Okay-
I am having issues with keeping the acorn nuts on my head tight (joke in there somewhere!). Anyway what are you guys using to keep them tightened to spec. I don't even have 2 hours on the top end yet and I am getting loose nuts! Have torqued them several times already. I noticed coolant leaking so I checked them and most were loose. The top end was re-done by HPR so it is an o-ringed head. Any suggestions.

Just use a reglar ol nut. Then don matter how fur dem threads pop out, take em each hafe pas snug like yur changin' lil ol car tar. I like use a justbul wreench we call KY fit all. Then don matter fits sillymeters or incheS
After I torqued them down last time they have yet to come loose again. I took it out to the dunes and rode it a bit and they are still tight. Thanks for the follow-up.
