What does it torque at and can you over tighten it and mess up the spring seal behind it?

Should be in the manual.  Do you have one?

just snug it up and use blue lock tite, its reverse thread so it wont back out.

Don't have a manual. So can the spring be damaged by over tightening it? I just held the impeller with my fingers, used a dab of blue lock tight, and tightened it up good.
