« on: January 08, 2013, 10:16:37 pm »
ok its been awhile since I had to do a break-in, can someone give me the steps again.

thanks in advance.

motor is a true 540HRD, this one does not have a long piston life, tons taken out of the intake and bridge.
carb 42mm mikuni, running the air box with a k&n and no lid. also has billet intake with v2 reeds.
110oct at 24.1 927oil
LRD low boy pipe

and any idea on where to start with the jetting, i am about 500 to 1200elv, and temps going to be lower 60's

i think thats everything

Increase throttle position each cycle. 1/4 1/2 3/4 full throttle. Each cycle 10 minutes or so. First
Cycle static with a fan on the motor.  Let the motor cool all they way down between cycles and retorque
