Hi guys, not been on for a while. I've stumbled on some threads where people have discovered they had no thrust washers on the big end of their crank. I've recently had my crank rebuilt with a hot rods kit and there are no washers on the big end what so ever. They were not in the kit. Should they be included in the kit or are they not required? There are spacers between the crank webs and the big end bearing, but no washers to hold the con rod in place between the webs. The engine has been rebuilt from every nut, bolt and bearing including re-sleeving welding and machining. I've got billet aluminium thrust washers on the top end. Does this engine need tearing apart again before it's even took its first kick start - is it that critical?. I've spent hundreds on this motor. Can't believe they were not included in the kit and that the machine shop didn't pick this up, I'm so pissed off. Thanks in advance for your help.
