left side drain bolt near the shifter?

can someone explain to me what this is please.  didnt find anything in the manual and on the diagram is says EX chamber bolt.

I'll take a stab at what quad you're referring to, it's a drain plug for the area below the power valve for any goo or fuel etc that may have accumulated.

U talking about the 1 with a slot in it thats about a inch    the shifter drum bolt is in there its not a drain
