I have found these rubber bulbs that are used to clear clogged drains in the plumbing section at home.depot.  They make.different sizes and the smaller one.looks perfect to plug the exhaust port back past the p.v.  They have a garden hose adapter on them but you could use an adapter to hook it up to air or nitrogen.
