I actually found a supplier in china that would make them for way cheaper than $400/ea, IIRC it was sub $100, just needed to buy a few of them at a time.

A thicker rad will offer better cooling. The longer fins means more surface area. Much better over stock, I really don't know as I have never done any testing.
