Use the stock rod,  I wouldn't use anything from hot rods. the 99rm 250 pin bearing is what you want with the billet washers. It is narrower than the stock one. The factory thrust washers are stepped so the oem bearing is wider. the billet washers are not stepped therefore you need a narrower bearing.
