Gotcha. I was referring to lightly sand the burr where the case halves meet. Its barely enough to catch a fingernail on, but its there. A lil pass with the scotch bright should clean up the surfaces themselves.
Another thing im gonna try with leak down testing is an expandable bladder used for clearing plumbing drains. Its supposed to handle up to 100 psi. I will use it to extend into the exhaust port past the pv, pump it up with 20 or 30 psi and see if it seals. Then do leak down with hopefully no question of air leaking past the pv into the tranny. Ill let yall know if it works or not.
