Engine bearing question with picture
« on: February 28, 2013, 08:01:37 pm »
Bearing seal question. In this picture the bearings behind where the clutch basket should be is there supposed to be a seal on them? There was a rolled up piece of blue stuff on them when I pulled the clutch basket.

none of the lt 250 or 500 engine bearings have seals.  if they do they were replaced with the wrong bearing.

some engines do use seals on there bearings but these do not.

Ok just checking I don't think the blue thing that was on it was a seal at any time not sure what it was and I don't even know if I kept it. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need new bearings and seals.
