tossing around the idea of running it on my zilla. i know with banshees it requires higher compression, modifying carbs and power jets, lots of timing, but i dont have the first clue what my zilla would need. anyone that knows or has experience with it please enlighten me.

If you are using the quad for drag racing only, methanol can give you 5% to 10% more power. If you are using it for any other purpose I do not think it is worth all of the trouble you have to go through every time you ride it.
it is drag only, only time it gets run is putting it on and off the trailer and at the races, sometimes some tuning passes at my house.
vacuum port for pump. pump. drill out breather in gas cap. alky carb. dome cut for alky.
Motor stays really clean inside.........its environmentally friendly.

what kind of carb do i need?? ive seen people run lectrons on alky as well as pwk's with powerjets. and who can cut the dome?? looking at doing this soon, and building a more drag oriented frame for it too
i have a 48 alky lectron on my small reed zilla. alky needle, Packard Billet bowl and 2 clippard style powerjets. gonna need a big enough throttle to open a big lectron up. not saying you need one that big though. i just got a good deal on it. thats why i got it. I also have a round mikuni vacuum pump that feeds the carb. It gets it pulse signal from the transfer port by the powervalve knob. Contact some of the tech guys on here about getting a dome cut. In order to get all you can out of the motor on alky. You will also need a good pipe, back cut and possibly over ridden tranny. Stock ignition will work fine for it. Better to contact some of the guys on here that do work to get it all figured out. But thats about the just of it. lol
Everyone is forgetting that you first need methanol in order to run a zilla on methanol.
Everything else is secondary to that :p
A sturdy bar clamp on coozy and preferably a resealable 16oz coors light aluminum pint to prevent spillage. Add a six pack rack for additional alcohol storage ability.

Resealable pints was the key. Dump the coors light out and put rum and coke in there the mouth opening is large enough to fit ice into it I dont know how I know this.

i dont even drink and i can handle that stuff, but dont get me wrong I may drink a few times a year
and when i do its either jim beam or heineken. and a 6 pak is all i really need.
