looking at a set on ebay for my bike, anyone ran them with some feedback on how they compare to stock??
A good improvement over stock petals.
There is a dyno chart around somewhere.See if I still have it.They are decent but well below the V2 setup at high rpm if I remember correctly.Would be an improvement over stock for sure.Decent deals on used V2,s come up on ebay once in awhile.Bought mine for $75 off there.
I haven't ever seen a V2 Reed vs. anything dyno on here.
i got a brand new set of v3's i will let go. not gonna need them now. 87
Yeah love to dyno reeds ( V-2 V-3 Carbon Tech Modified OEM Cage) to compare, Just too expensive for my blood to track what few HP differences between them.
Surprised Hall or Matt has'nt tested different reeds with there pipes?
i got the Q special, carbon tech reeds with the oe reed cage modified, thats what he sent me in scammy.
not the v2's he preached that you had to have.
I,ve never tested but came across this some time ago.Not sure on what ride it was done on though.
Post also said Ignore the dyno's label it really is a Vforce 3, DIR G3, FMF Ram Valve, Pyramid Reed Cage and CarbonTec reeds.
Pretty sure this was posted on planet sand originally but won,t say for sure. Not sure how valid or accurate the results are so take it with a grain of salt.
Just thought it was interesting and maybe useful to someone.
I used some from esr that out did vf3 and blew away the rad reeds on a 250r. Too bad they aren't available for the lt for some testing
We could send our reeds to P*DP and talk him into dynoing it while he is doing his pipe testing. Lol
Id do that for yall. I got the mossbarger, probably gonna get a stock cage with boyessen petals on it for myself. So if someone wants me to run anything else let me know.
Down the road Ill get me some VF2 but probably not before the pipe testing.
i got all of them, v force, v2, v3, mossberg, fmf ram, and some other ones not sure who made them.
most are 88 +
I have a friend who will do custom sand casting/forging,,,,
I'm gunna get him to do me a intake manifold for my Tri-Z that's angled back to the center. With the powervalved cylinder it kicks the carb back to the left and just about puts the boot on the stinger.
