Rainman - I am building a stock small reed 500 to test the theory of more torque/throttle response that alot of people claim. Ill see if the old but dyno can tell the difference from the stock 87 topend I was running.
Old thread but just curious on views of big reed vs small reed.Any reasoning behind why Suzuki switched to the small read on 88+ 250 and 500,s?
75 horsepooper
Ive personally never seen a built big reed that ever ran good.
Fishermans small reed spun the roller to 75 horsepooper
