Aaen Hybrid pipe stock carb jetting?
« on: April 25, 2016, 05:20:54 pm »
Looking for a good starting point for a LT500 engine with an Aaen hybrid pipe mild porting, head recut and O-ringed and stock 38mm carb. Not sure how much richer the main jet size changes over stock with basically a change to an Aaen.I will start rich but how much richer than stock would be a good start point?
Can,t fix stupid.:)

they tune about the same as a Q pipe.  start around 440-430 main 32.5 pilot (>1000 elevation)

Is that even with a stock 38mm?I was told to run those specs with a Q RX,d carb but thought a stock 38mm would be leaner jetting?

I'd run 460-450 main and 35 pilot+ depending on slide wear with a bored 38.
