I'm restoring a Zilla for my buddy, and we want to replace the dry rotted tires. He's looking for sandy trail tires. Any suggestions? D?

Interesting. What type of stuff do you use them in Dez?
There is a DWT that looks like a Holeshot, but the lugs and bigger and further apart, and they look good for what he wants. Too bad they are for a 9 inch wheel. (pg)

I don't know if the area where he rides has distinct sand and dirt areas. I think they're kinda mixed together.

My riding area consists of hard pack dirt (think Carlsbad raceway) with lots of rocks or the desert sand & rocks.

I run holeshots here in florida.  Lots of sand and some other clay type crap.  They work really good.
I have a set of realtors, that tire is hard as a rock and heavy as one too.

Ah. Dunno if a tire that works well there will also work well in sandy trails Dez.

Holeshots have been on mine since about 90, and those where the ones I'm thinking we'll get.

The Realtor is what I call "Bigfoot rubber". Good for mud and snow, but heavy. My LT-4WD has SpiderTracs all around, and that thing NEVER gets stuck! BUT, they KILL the top end and acceleration. But I don't care! MUD RUN! D?

Because those of us who bought the realators way back when, learned that they were rolling bricks and  that did not perform too well.  We all said to ourselves, thats ok, I will just get something better when these ware out....well guess what...THEY NEVER WARE OUT.  EVER>  they do not ware, I was stuck with mine for over 8 years and I finally took them off and gave them to a friend.  They still have tread.  Lots of tread.   I wish my car tires lasted that long :)
