OK heard another trick on the LT500 CDI?
« on: September 29, 2014, 04:08:58 pm »
Been hearing through the grapevine that a  CDI from a certain year LT250 has a different timing curve and work really well on the LT500, has anyone else heard of this? if so please share the information, maybe Jerry Hall or Carl might have some knowledge on this ?
I looked on line the OEM p/n#32900-01C00 is the same for LT250 and the LT500, But......a P/N#3290-19A10 shows up also for the LT250 -87-92, and is less expensive too.

The OEM manuals on each model give the advance/RPM info.  Probably a series of dyno runs would tell if the motor likes something different.
