Maier Plastic Question, Black Carbon Fiber
« on: January 26, 2013, 07:06:42 pm »
Hey since I am being a chicken chit on cutting OEM plastic for the extra Zilla, I was thinking of going Black Carbon Fiber from Maier's, has any one bought this color, how does it hold up?

In my experience, I have found that the maier plastics are tough.. As in they are a lil thicker than oem and way more flexible. I dont see why these would be any different.
That said, you can probably expect the same el crappo fit that all the lt 500 plastics have.
I have only bought maier for a banshee, 250r, a couple bikes and a blaster.
Im diigin the cf look tho.

black shows to many scratches, i love black. but not black plastic its so easy to scratch it.
life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sidays totally worn out shouting "HOLY SH*T...WHAT A RIDE!"
