Ice racing set up
« on: January 27, 2013, 05:58:25 pm »
I know a couple of you guys also ice race out there. I was wondering what you guys do for your setups on the 500. I seem to be needing traction coming out of the corners. I am running 300ex shocks up front, warrior rear shock, 3" axle extenders out back, aftermarket offset rims up front. 18" cheng shins in the rear 1 stud per knob. I am thinking about losing the axle extender on the outside to put more weight on the outside rear tire. I  know that a shorter rear swingarm and sway bar would help, just wondering if theres anything else I should lok at before gong that route. I ran a 250r for years and had that pretty dialed in but the zilla is brand new to me.
