Which one of these belongs on a 1987 zilla? It seems that most have a combination of the 2 but nothing consistent. I am assuming people have changed them over the years. One looks a lot more durable than the other. Both of these appear bent. I have a couple that are flat also. All help is appreciated and I will probably try to do a bump steer mod on it to. Thanks.

I believe the thinner of the two or less beefie, is the 87. ( the one on the Left in 1st pic )
I am also under the impression that they are supposed to be completely flat, with no bend or arch.( I though a bend in it was sign of wheel hitting something resulting it the metal giving alittle)
hope that helps ?

Just delt with this, the thicker one is the 88-90 and the thinner is the 87.
They should be in matching sets based on thickness, one bent one not bent. Not sure which side, right or left, gets the bent one through.
I believe bend angle is the same so you can run either set on any year bike.
Just seems strange that one should be bent and one not bent? I think on my other 87 both are strait and I moved them from bolting on top of the knuckle to bolting on the bottom of the knuckle. Maybe bent down helps bump steer"
