A-arms Tap and die
« on: March 16, 2016, 02:18:35 pm »
Has anyone here ever tapped and put on zirk fittings on their stock 500 A-arms? I have seen zirk fittings on newer quad a-arms but am wondering if anyone has done this on the stockers and where exactly you put them? Pics would be cool to see the finished product.

Never done it to a-arms, but have done it to carriers.

It isn't hard. Just make sure you put it somewhere it wont be ripped off from the a-arms moving.

Nice, thanks Q2W. Are those stockers or aftermarket? I like the chrome look. I was thinking of powder coating mine black.

I also have a set of lowers done like that. just that grease zerk is on the top side and very close to the dust cap seal twords the end , on mine.

Having a bike you don’t ride is like having a girlfriend you don’t bang so it’s nice and tight for the next guy.
