z400 arms on an 87 lt250r?

so ive been looking around for extended arms for my 87 lt250r and ive been seeing that people say z400 arms will bolt right up to the 250r. is this true? if so has anyone done it, if you have were there anyproblems that you ran into

I haven't done it but I do know that the Z400 has totally different frame geometry than the LT-250. It could be done but would take a little bit of fab work to narrow the bottom frame rails to the same proportions as the Z400 frame.

That being said, Metaltech makes extended A-arms for the LT-250 that bolt right in. They can even give you the option to run the Z400 spindles if that's what you want.

I have +2 Metal Tech A Arms.Good guys and the fit is great.

$460 US + I think powder coating was to be around $60 but for some reason he didn't charge me for that.You will also need to get some stock arm bushings or bearing kits as well.
Can,t fix stupid.:)

They included the longer tie rod sleeve and adjustable upper balljoint.Have to use your tie rods and lower ball joint.
