I was tying a piece of straight wood to the outsides of either tire and measuring from inside to inside on both in front of the tire and behind and going for a total toe in of a 1/8 to a 1/4 . also to ensure they were done evenly i hooked my tape on the end of my tie rod end to my locking nut that was snugged up and adjusting to get the same measurement on both sides. I was not sure weather or not to do it on a jack or on the ground so from the info i gathered from you gents is to do it on the ground with equal weight on the machine as my self ! thanks for the help guys .
