Extended axle options
« on: April 28, 2013, 10:16:19 am »
Hey just wondering what options we have as far as rear axles. I'm looking to replace my stocker with a +4 unit, and we are pretty limited on aftermarket suppliers for the LT250R. Will an extended Z400 axle work? Thanks!  +k2

Dura blue is the one option. I got lucky and found a lonstar axle 2+2 with a lifetime warranty back in begin of this year. But they quit making it back in 2005.A company found some over stock and i got one. But Durablue is a good one. I have one that has a little bend in it on the right side. I called Durablue it was 60 or 80$ for them to fix it for me.

I have a good durablue +2+4 that's I'd be willing to sell cheap with a trade for a good (unbent) stock one

A good aftermarket swing arm builder could make you up a swing arm to use the axle & carrier from an LTR or LTZ or even a Banshee.

The one i have is a 26  i also bought the posi locker for it. I know you were asking about the other guys. but the one i have  ran fine to a few mph before wide open. Only in the top of 6 gear could you feel it.

That sucks. I'm still running the 86 24 spline stick.
